I'm a fan of reading; but not a fan of writing.
That's what I’ve thought until I
discovered Wattpad. It was 2011 when a certain story introduced me on the said
website. I enjoyed it a lot. Well, who wouldn’t like a free reading site,
anyway?
The more I read, the more I want to try writing. So I did.
Summer 2012, I started writing my first ever story entitled Suddenly It’s Magic. It isn’t that good
compared to other stories, but finishing it made me so proud. I only have one
reader that time. Knowing someone reads my story made me so happy. Ah, simple
things.
I fell in love with writing as much as I’m in love with reading.
That’s why I continue to write.
And luck has come my way. My second story (Teen Clash) gained quite a number of readers. How did that happen?
I don’t know either. All I know is that I enjoy what I’m doing. When I finished
Teen Clash, I’ve written another story and another and another.
My reader became readers. It’s just so overwhelming and humbling knowing
that I’ve gained readers – that I’m making people smile, inspired and happy
through my stories. I hope I can make them smile more, love more and inspire to
read more.
What was once a curiosity turned into passion.
And I’ll hold onto this passion as long as I can.
And it’s out!
Teen Clash is soon to be a major
motion picture under Star Cinema starring Nash Aguas and Alexa Ilacad. No announcement
had been made about other details (such as target film release and other casts)
yet.

Anyway… I hope you’ll support
this movie as much as you supported the story.
Thank you!
Xoxo,
Ai
I can still clearly remember that
time.
It was the 27th of May
2013. I was browsing my page’s inbox which I haven’t done for so long. Usually,
it was my admins who’s checking my page’s messages for me since I was busy with
my studies and writing. I’m reading their messages (which I’m so thankful for
by the way) when a particular message caught my attention. Someone just made an
offer to publish Teen Clash as a book. I was so shocked I didn’t know if that
was legit or not.
I was literally shaking and my
heart was pounding while typing my reply. It was the first publishing offer I
got in my whole life. Knowing that Diary
ng Panget was the only book published that time made everything too good to
be true.
It wasn’t easy though. There were
confusions and hesitations. I was confuse if I should take their offer or not,
but to make the long story short, I ended up signing the contract.
And know what? It was worth it!
Everything’s worth it. I’m so glad to pick the right choice.

And after a year… my story which is a product of curiosity, boredom and hardwork is finally published as a book.
Ahhh!! I can finally hold Teen Clash with my both hands.
I'll be forever thankful! :)
